Abstract

The article analyzes the problems of the influence of speech representation in the media on the formation of cognitive stereotypes, in connection with the challenges that arise in media communications. The interaction of speech and media factors in an interdisciplinary context was studied using discourse analysis. It is noted that the approach to the analysis of media texts takes into account extra- and intralingual factors, revealing strategies of influence, in particular, such as manipulation and influence on media literacy. Globalization processes and language aestheticization determine new aspects of the functioning of media texts, affecting language expression and interaction with mass consciousness. The methods of manipulative translation, especially in the limited conditions of the recipients, contribute to creating the impression of the credibility and importance of the information from the media. The importance of preventing the negative effects of media on the moral and psychological state of Ukrainian servicemen and the need to develop their ability to psychological self-defense is noted. The text, as a semiotic formation, has universal typological features, influencing the consciousness of the receiver and controlling the processes of understanding and perception. The prospect of future research in a deeper analysis of the differences in speech strategies in different media contexts and taking into account the influence of the geographical and cultural environment is followed. It is noted that the research has the potential to study the effectiveness of pedagogical approaches to the development of media literacy and critical thinking in the context of the speech influence of the media, which can lead to the development of methods and programs for the formation of responsible consumers of information. It is noted that an extended study of the influence of media on various social groups, in particular, youth, women, and minorities, will reveal new aspects of cultural representation and social justice in the media space. This indicates the need for additional research to identify new aspects of the representation of speech structures on media platforms in the context of modern societal challenges.
